4 Masks For Summer Ready Skin

Spring is in full swing! We have cherry blossoms, daffodils, easter bunnies, chocolate comas and we’re bursting out the pastels in our wardrobe and we’re cracking out the dewy makeup, pink lips and we’re all on the countdown to summer. With Summer around the corner, I’m paying particular attention to my skincare regime and I thought I’d share with you the masks I can’t be without to prepare my skin for summer!

In the autumn and winter, my skin really needs super moisturising products, the cold really hates my skin! For that reason for half of the year, my face is always sporting the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask which really quenches my skin’s thirst! It’s much too heavy for my skin in spring and summer and instead, you’ll find me reaching for different kinds of masks!

Origins Clear Improvement Mask – I love me some charcoal masks and this little fella is my number one go to! I feel like charcoal masks have to be contained in the bath because they can get a little on the messy side of life! But this product right there seriously has away with my blackheads! I work in an industrial site in a warehouse so the air is super polluted and dust is my best mate so my skin can get so clogged up yet this mask never fails me!

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask – This mask is a cult favourite and one I’m not surprised about! It took me quite a while to get used to it because it’s just like a moisturiser and I’m used to super thick masks! It really keeps my skin hydrated but what I love most is how plump my skin feels after using this! It’s really worked a number on my blemishes too and when I use this regularly my spots reduce really quickly! It’s not a messy mask either because it just remains wet!
Beauty Pro Brightening Collagen Mask – Sheet masks are probably some of my favourites because they’re so quick and easy and have no mess! This is a dual-function mask with brightening and anti-aging properties. I’ve had a few of these masks now and I do notice each time I use them my skin feels firmer to the touch and brighter straight after plus you only leave it on for 15 minutes!

Filorga Hydra-Filler Mask* – This little gem is the star of the show if I’m honest! I’ve already ordered some more! Another sheet mask with intense hydration properties! It’s a super moisturising mask with a plumping formula with hyaluronic acid. This product right here is perfect for combination skin and dehydrated skin! I love how the mask just naturally sits on your face, none of these flappy bits you get with other masks! It’s an instant and lasting effect, my skin feels plumper straight away but it lasts too! It works to restore skins radiance and freshness and I am in love with it!

I’m so pleased I’m finally getting there with my skin, I’ve noticed such a massive difference and whilst I don’t have perfectly clear skin my spots are slowly but surely improving and I’m so ready for the summer now!
What’s your number one all time favourite mask?

All of these sounds interesting, but the one with honey caught my eyes the most. I would love to get my hands on this.

I have never tried the Filorga mask but sounds amazing – I too suffer with my skin so I am making more of a conscious effort with it lately!

Yesss! I’m impatient so sheet masks are great because you don’t have to wait ages for it to dry and there is no mess!

I have the antipodes mask in my pile of products to try and use, I’m so excited to use it and I’m glad to hear it’s good for summer weather! I get more oily during the warmer weather so I tend to go towards clay masks to help pull out the extra oils. I’ve never tried the Origins one but I have a mini so I’ll definitely need to give it a try!
