Today’s post is brought to you with the help of The Fragrance Shop who put together a little package of some pick me up essentials for a festival. Tents, wellies, bin bags and wading through mud to hear your favourite bands and singers is all fun but there are some essential non-essentials out there that can make your festival experience that little bit better so today we will be sharing those with you!
Temporary Tattoo’s | I can’t think of anything that reminds me more of festivals than the metallic temporary tattoo’s you see festival goers rocking! The ones I have are by Glimmer & Go and you get a combination of silver and gold jewellery tattoos!
Radiant For Her Perfume | It’s £30 for a 100ml bottle which is a very reasonable price! It’s in such a beautiful bottle which has a gold lid and a large gold sun in the centre of the bottle. It got such a beautiful smell too. Light but with musky undertones it’s got a citrus scent to it with notes of grapefruit, lemon and lime.
Twist & Spritz | Nothing picks me up more than knowing I smell good especially when I’m not in the cleanest environment but you don’t really want to run the risk of shattering a perfume bottle amongst your belongings do you? The Twist & Spritz (8ml) is great to fill up with your favourite perfume and pop in your pocket or bag and you are good to go! It’s so easy to fill and means you can take it around with you much easier.
Hylamide c25 Vitamin C Booster | Obviously, when you’re cooped up in a tent for a weekend your 25 step skincare routine is going to go right out of the window isn’t it! Boosting the Vitamin C in your skin is going to help you feel fresh faced and it comes in the nicest pipette bottle. It feels interesting on the skin as it’s a mixture between a serum and an oil but once absorbed into the skin it feels light and fresh.
FLOWER CROWNS! | Duh, what kind of festival go-er would you be if you weren’t sporting a flower crown?! You have do admit they are bloody adorable and so summery and pretty. They really spruce up any hairstyle and make classic tent hair even look pretty!
If you’re anything like me you will want to experiment and try new perfumes and fragrances but the price, combined with the fear of hating said perfume before you’ve had the opportunity to wear it can be an issue and usually does tend to put me off and stop me trying out different fragrances on the market. The fragrance shop has removed that stress because they now have a subscription box in which you are sent themed boxes per season with all the hottest and latest fragrances. They all come in the little vial test tubes and it gives you an opportunity to try before you buy and you’ve got some new fragrances to wear! It’s a really cool way to explore different perfumes out there, doesn’t break the bank and you get to smell great whilst doing so! It’s £5 per quarter which is an amazing price as you get discounts and promotions too and it’s no contract, unsubscribe any time!
I hope you enjoyed a slightly different post from me today! I’d love to know in the comments what festivals you’ve been to before!
