Is it me or is it impossible to just pick a few products from Colourpop? No matter what happens I always come away with three times what I planned to buy but I always think if I’m going through the effort to have it sent from America, waited for it, paid the painful customs fee (mine was £17!) you might as well go all out! I decided for this haul I wanted to grow my liquid lipstick stash so if you want swatches and a look at everything I bought then keep scrolling!
There is one thing I don’t like about the Colourpop website and it’s that I don’t think their swatches are true to colour. Every product – lip wise I have bought from them has been a little off on the shades. What I do now is look at it on their website and also check google for swatches too!
If you spent a certain amount you got to choose a mini liquid lipstick and it happens that the amount I spent meant I was able to pick three shades and I chose to go for shades that I didn’t want to buy full size because I wasn’t sure I would like them. All three of these are the ultra satin lips.
Dopey – A muted purply-pink shade with a brown tone to it. Be careful because this does give my teeth that yellow glow.
Strip – This gives me all the Mac Velvet Teddy vibes! It’s a very flattering warm beige shade.
Frick N’ Frack – This is a rosy pink/red terracotta shade!

I did a Colourpop haul last year and went for all of the Ultra Matte shades and quickly learnt I didn’t like the formula as much as I hoped I would. They were just a little too drying on my lips so I decided to give the Ultra Satins a try which are still gorgeous and matte without that clacky bitty drying sensation on the lips. I also tried to steer away from all brown tones because my collection is swimming with them but I still slipped a few into my basket!
November – November was the one shade I knew I wanted to pick up in my order and I’m so glad I did! It’s a warm shade with pinks and peaches. It’s a lovely summery colour.
Love Muffin – A gorgeous milky pink but not the kind that washes you out it’s the perfect lighter pink shade without making me look ill.
Echo Park – This was another shade on my list of products I knew I wanted to pick up. It’s a warm peachy nude but with strong brown tones in it too.
Calypso – Well hello there Mac Whirl dupe! It’s got all the deep brown in this shade with a very light red in it too. A lovely brown shade.
Alyssa – This is the third shade I knew I wanted to buy but it turns out its a very similar shade to Love Muffin, just a little darker! It’s a lovely muted pink which is perfect for this season and all skintones!

I did pick up one Ultra Matte shade because I was curious and I really liked the look of this shade and it’d been mentioned a few times that it’s a dupe for one of the Kylie Cosmetics shades!
Midi – It’s a pale dusty pink with is quite a creamy colour. I think this would suit all skin tones and it’s pretty cool toned too!
I never know why I don’t pick up more of these when I place an order because they are my favourite formulations by far! They’re so hydrating, not at all sticky and they last an entire day on my lips too! I have one of these and knew I needed to pick up another to try.
Hype Girl – This is a matte Lippie Stix which I never realised they did but it turns out they do! So I can have them in a satin or matte finish so it’s a win-win! It’s the brightest shade i bought out of everything but still an everyday kind of shade. It’s a beautiful matte coral pink.
ULTRA BLOTTED LIP
My curiosity was at an all time high with these products and I just had to have some to try. I wasn’t at all sure what to expect if I’m honest and had a slight inkling they wouldn’t be very good. Oh, how I was wrong! They’re my new favourite things in the world! They create a softer look to the lips whilst remaining incredibly pigmented. It’s lightweight and comfortable but transfer-proof and they are still matte! They apply sheer and then dry matte?! It’s the strangest thing ever but you have got to try them.
Doozy – I would describe this as an everyday watermelon shade! It’s got a red tone to it but remains in the family of pinks it’s just a really juicy kind of lip colour!
Slide – A lovely rosy dusty pink shade which is quite cool in tone.

That is everything from my rather large haul! I hope this will help describe the shades a little more accurate for any of you who were wondering or wanting to place an order! I’ll be doing an eyeshadow order sometime soon too so keep your eye out for that!
