IT’S HERE! Well, it actually arrived last week but I’ve been so snowed under with other plans I’ve had to wait a few day’s to play with it and it’s been torture! There are going to be lots of these posts because it’s a new launch, it’s exciting, it’s what we do as beauty bloggers! I wanted to chime in with my thoughts as someone who has never tried an Urban Decay Naked palette before.
I have just never really been in awe of their other Naked palettes and have made it just fine without them in my collection but the moment I saw this was being released I knew it had to come and join my palette collection. I can’t resist warm toned shades and my palettes are surprisingly sparse of warm tones so naturally, this palette was going to be mine!
You get 12 beautiful buttery shades in this palette. 8 matte shades, 4 shimmer shades and it’s a practical palette, I can see a use for them all! Not to mention the wonderful Urban Decay names that have you thinking “who on earths job is it to think of these!” The shades we have are:
Ounce, Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, Lumbre, He Devil, Dirty Talk, Scorched, Cayenne, En Fuego, Ashes, Ember
From left to right: He Devil, Lumbre, Low Blow, Sauced, Chaser, Ounce
From left to right: Ember, Ashes, En Fuego, Cayenne, Scorched, Dirty Talk
The shades are all so different from one another yet I can see dozens of eye looks that can be done with this! There are two of the shades I found on the chalky side in comparison to the rest of the palette. It’s the two darker shades so it won’t bother me so much but Ashes and En Fuego are just a little chalky in consistency than the others but…I still love them!
Did you snap up this palette early? Will you be getting it when it comes out? I’d love to know!
